Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 14, 2026. Applies to the Furry Match app for Android (package name com.goldenyarrow.furrymatch), published by Golden Yarrow.
Furry Match is designed to work without an account. We collect as little as the game needs to run, improve and let you buy optional items. This page explains exactly what that is.
What the game collects
- Gameplay analytics. The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to record how the game is played: level starts and results, features used, purchases made, and the app version and device type. This data is tied to a random app-instance identifier generated on your device, not to your name, email or phone number.
- Device and other identifiers. Firebase assigns a random installation identifier, reads the Android advertising identifier (resettable in your device settings, used only for analytics and never for ads), and may receive your device model, operating system version, language and approximate region derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise location.
- Purchase information. Optional in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Google Play handles your payment details; the app only receives a confirmation that a purchase was completed so it can deliver the item. We never see your card or bank details.
What the game does not collect
- No account, name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- No precise location, camera, microphone, photos or files.
- No advertising: the game contains no third-party ads and no ad tracking.
- No data from children knowingly: Furry Match is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Why we use this data
- To keep the game working and fix crashes and bugs.
- To understand which levels and features are too hard, too easy or unused, so we can improve them.
- To deliver items you buy and to detect fraud.
Notifications
The game can show reminders about your pets' care on your device. These are scheduled locally on your phone and can be turned off in the game's settings or in your device's notification settings. No push-notification service is used.
Where your data goes
Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics for Firebase) under Google's privacy policy. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by default in Firebase, then deleted. Your game progress is stored on your device only; uninstalling the app removes it.
Delete your data
Furry Match by Golden Yarrow keeps no account, so deletion works by request. To have your data deleted:
- Email derabills+furrymatch@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data".
- Include the approximate date you installed the game and, if you made any purchases, the Google Play order number so we can locate the records.
- Uninstall the app. This removes your game progress and resets the identifiers on your device.
What is deleted: the analytics records tied to your app-instance identifier, installation identifier and advertising identifier (level and feature events, device type, approximate region), and any purchase events we hold. Deletion is completed within 30 days of the request.
What is kept: Google Play keeps purchase and refund records under its own policy; we cannot delete those. Anonymous aggregate statistics that no longer identify a device are retained.
Your choices and rights
- Reset the identifier. Uninstalling the app resets the Firebase installation identifier.
- Region-specific rights. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or another region with data-protection rights, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data using the same email.
Security
Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. Because we hold no accounts, there is no password to protect and nothing to log in to.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the game collects, we will update this page and the effective date, and describe the change in the app's store listing notes.
